First 100 Days

If the last 100 days have shown us anything, it’s that an unchecked president can cause devastating damage to Americans and their families in a very short time.

In March 2025, more than 216,000 government employees were fired due to the Trump-created DOGE. Since February, DOGE's actions have resulted in over 280,000 layoffs of federal workers and contractors, making DOGE the leading reason for job cuts this year.
Other Trump-supported programs have led to a striking decrease in vaccinations, resulting in measles outbreaks and three deaths. As of April 17, 2025, the CDC reports 800 confirmed measles cases in the US. Even if measles doesn’t lead to death, contracting the disease can irreparably damage the immune system. In an April 24, 2025, study, researchers at Stanford Medicine and other universities predicted that at “current state-level vaccination rates, measles may become endemic again.” Their simulations further projected that with a less than 50% decline in childhood vaccinations, the US could see “51.2 million measles cases over a 25-year period, 9.9 million rubella cases, 4.3 million poliomyelitis cases, 197 diphtheria cases, 10.3 million hospitalizations, and 159,200 deaths.”
In 100 days, Trump’s ICE enforcers have disappeared almost 4,000 non-criminal residents from our communities without due process, including children and cancer patients. Trump’s Secretary of Defense continues to risk our military operations and personnel. Trump’s tariffs have created a chaotic financial environment. Trump’s DOGE cuts have drastically impacted veterans, scientists, and our most vulnerable students. The damage doesn’t end there, and it won’t unless he’s stopped.
In 100 days, we’ve seen dramatic damage to our nation’s families, health, laws, economy, and international reputation. What took only 100 days to destroy will take much longer to rebuild if we don’t stop them. We, the people, still have power. Call your congressmen-- flood their offices with demands to use their congressional power to stop the executive branch from a hostile takeover of our government.
We can also make our voices heard loud and clear through protests, rallies, and demonstrations. Our numbers are growing -- we, the people.
